People of all abilities can participate with Boccia. Even though the sport was designed for people with physical disabilities, people with all kinds of disabilities can participate in Australia including visual impairments and intellectual disabilities.

No experience is needed!
We have athletes of all experience levels - from beginners all the way to Australian representatives.

We welcome people as young as kindergarten and there’s no age limit for Boccia!

We design our sessions depending on the needs and wants of our athletes. Our sessions can include fun boccia activities, practical boccia drills, full rules games for competition preparation and more.

Athletes are always welcome to bring their own equipment such as balls and ramp however we do have equipment available for athletes to use if they prefer.

Absolutely!
We offer pathways for athletes who want to compete socially, locally, and even state, national and even high-performance opportunities by providing skill appropriate coaching and mentoring.
Competing is always optional though. Some members join simply to enjoy the sport, build skills, and be part of a welcoming community, while others may choose to pursue competitive pathways over time.
